Objective

The rotational squat is a lateral squat with both feet pointing out 45°. The alternated position opens up the hips in a different way compared to the lateral squat. The rotational squat improves mobility of the adductor muscles, especially focusing on the m. adductor magnus (the big adductor muscle). This exercise also stretches the inner part hamstrings.
